Sustainably Farmed Tahitian Pearls

Perfectly imperfect. I source natural uniquely shaped pearls from a Farm that grows its pearls in the nutrient rich lagoon of Ahe Atoll, 300 miles northeast of Tahiti. Josh & Celeste and their small artisanal business adhere to the strictest levels of sustainable farming and have pioneered many Eco-techniques that have improved both their environment and the quality of their pearls. Their farm is fully powered by wind and solar and has become a reserve for coral protection and a safe place for fish to reproduce. To clean their oysters, they let the tropical fish nibble away. To seed new pearls they recycle local mother of pearl in the grafting process. I chose Kamoka Pearls to supply the pearls for Proud Maddison jewelry for their similar values and culture.
